A Funny Tale!

Once, An Old Man came to a Dental Hospital. He went to the Dentist and complained, holding his Teeth. "That Tooth.." He said, opening his mouth and showing a Dirty Teeth! " It Literally Hurts!"

The Dentist Took a deep look at the Tooth for sometime and answered, taking out a paper.' Ho! It's nothing.. Teeth  Eventually Falls when we grow Old." He Said." That's not a Problem! I will give you some medicines.'

But The Old Man yelled." No! I want it to be Extracted right now itself! Or else I would not leave this place.' 

The Dentist had nothing Else to say! So, he decided to Extract his Tooth. "Ha that hurts!' Screamed the Old Man.

At Last, The Man came out and sat down, Exhausted. When he was about to pay the bill, The Dentist asked" Old Man, Give us Extra Hundred Rupees.' ' For What?' The Old Man asked, curious. '

"More than Ten patients had ran away, Hearing you screams!!"

Lost Soul~Chapter 7~

We began to shiver. The Evil Spirit smoothly touched Felix. Like Paul, Felix too turned Red and Pale and fell down, unconscious. Then it came behind my head. But I was frightened to even look back. So, I just remained, unmoved. It neared, And let it's sticky disgusting tongue forward. It moved It's hands forward to touch me.

 

Thud! What was this sound?! It was the Nun and some of the Priests. She took the Book and Read it aloud as the others showed the Cross over to the Ghost. Now, It could not move. It stood like statue, trying to move.

Then, the other Priests poured some Ashes near the Spirit like a square. And so, the Ghost could not get out of it.

The Nun Yelled. "What do you want and who are you? Why do you want to haunt that Boy, Paul?'

The Spirit screamed and cried. Then, it Elaborated.

" My name is Carolyn. I had a family of Nine. I was also young and Pretty. But A Landlord who had always been an Enemy for us, once Killed me. Because, he thought that if he killed me, the family would go into a sad depression and stop troubling him. Now, I want to take Revenge. Leave me now, Leave me!'

'So, why do you want to haunt us?" I asked, a little brave.

"In that way, I can kill the Evil Man. And also his blood group suits me perfectly. Let me go inside your friend's body.' 

I was depressed. When Both Paul and Felix were awake, I told them all these. Paul was sad upon hearing this. But, he agreed, upon hearing the sad story of the Ghost. I wept for him.

Who is a 'Dasar'?

A Dasar is a Great Scholar or a Poet of Dvaita. Now, What is Dvaita? 'Dvaita' means 'Duality' in Sanskrit. This term refers to any premise, particularly on Divine and Devotion. And, where two principles, Truths and Realities, are Posited simultaneously or by itself.

Now, Let's come to the point. These Dasas contribute mainly in Carnatic Music. They make impressions on all the Gods, and spread the teachings in the form of music, by which it will be Enshrined in the mind.

Finding A Cook! - A Funny Tale!

 Boris was a richest Businessman in the whole City. He had Everything, servants for doing laundry, servants for cleaning shoes, servants for household chores and much more!

But he had only one more wish-To find a suitable Cook for his house! So, he announced in the public. ' My fellow citizens, I am going to appoint a suitable Steward-[Cook] for my house. Each and every month, they will be paid  10 gold coins! Tomorrow morning, people who desire, can stand near my Bungalow. Each can bring a dish made of their own.'

The Greedy people where shocked on hearing this! A bunch of men and women, decided to try their luck. 

So, the next morning, They Happily Gathered around Boris's Bungalow.

Boris was open - mouthed when he saw these many people standing near his Mansion! So, he called them one by one.

As the first member, A thin young man, with black moustache appeared before Boris. He introduced himself ' My name is Oscar and I am a great chef in the hotel. You will never be able to taste such a delicious meal that I will prepare."

So, Boris decided to Taste Oscar's Dish. This was a huge Bowl covered with a wooden plate. The opening of the plate, brought desperation to Boris! It was some white rice with some side dish! The rice was not cooked enough and the side dish was very salty! So, Boris sent Oscar away..!

As the next, there came a Lady with a wide smile in her mouth! She began to talk about herself.

'My name is Emma Beth and I had been the famous cook for a Great Emperor. My meals will taste like Nectar. And my Hobby is..' Before she could talk more, Boris stopped her!

And he grabbed a big plate covered with a cup! He thought this talkative Emma Beth would cook nicely. But, much more to Boris's Disappointment, Emma Beth had cooked a very nasty meal! The Bread was Rotten, The Jam was Expired, and She had mixed Salt in the milk, instead of sugar!

Like this, most of the people had cooked very badly! Actually, his tummy had been very full, and was grumpy!

At Last, A young man with short hair, appeared before Boris. Boris exclaimed at him for a while. Then, Boris remarked.' I trust you that you will cook nicely.' The young man nodded and said.' My name is Charlie. I am a simpleton and have practised how to cook meals nicely. Here, taste some cookies and pancakes and boiled Dal Rice!'

Boris curiously tasted them. What! This tasted like Nectar! The creamy cookies were very tasty! The Dal rice was spicy and was marvellous! The Pancakes were so crispy!

Boris was very happy! He appointed Charlie as his Personal Steward!

When the place is quiet,

In the Night,           

As the birds Sore,

Up to their home, 

You can hear my call,

Cuckoo - Cuckoo - Cuckoo! ♬

On top of the tree,

You can see me free,

Somewhere up, high,

I will be flying in the sky,

And You can hear my cry,

Cuckoo - Cuckoo - Cuckoo! ♬

When Juicy purple Berries,

Go splash under your feet,

As the Wisps of White,

Sail across the sky,

You can hear my chatters,

The Lost Soul~Chapter6~

 When the Creature stood right before us, we started to tremble. Felix shouted.' Run, Run away!' 'B-uut, whe-re?' I asked him. 'Run to the basement. 

Get me the Cross and the book, that the Nun had gave us that day.' 

I ran down to the basement, and tried to pick the book and the cross. But the ferocious Spirit was not leaving me to take it. So, I called out, trembling.

' Help! Paul, Felix! Come down!'  They hurried down. We three pulled tightly on the book. Alas! The Evil Spirit, tore the book into pieces and it broke the cross.

We were afraid. It walked forward. At this movement, we three were breathless. It neared Paul and it pulled him over. The Spirit touched him. The Next movement, He was red and pale. He fell down, unconscious.

As the next target, It was nearing us.

The Funny Waiter!

 Young Mohit Joined as a waiter in a Big Restaurant. But, he was very foolish and silly! One noon, there came a costumer. He ordered a cup of tea. He also told Mohit that he want the tea in less than five minutes. 

Mohit went straight to the kitchen and told the chefs about the tea. Alas! There was no milk left! So, Mohit told them.' No need to worry! One of you go and buy the milk. While I will keep the costumer engaged.'

And so, Mohit went to the costumer who was waiting for the tea. Mohit asked him 'Sir, do you want hot tea or cold tea?" The costumer shouted at him ' Who would drink cold tea? Just bring me hot tea!"

Again, Mohit asked. "Sir, you want the tea in a cup or bottle or glass or.. a plate?' The costumer could not control his anger.' Hey waiter! Then what else can you serve the tea in?'

'A Mug?" asked Mohit.

'How dare you!..' The costumer yelled.

'Err.. Sir, how much sugar should I add in the tea?' Mohit asked.

'Three Spoonful.' The angry costumer replied.

'Ha? Three spoonful? Not Tablespoons?" Mohit asked, calmly.

The Costumer burned with rage. He ran out of the restaurant, crying. "Is this a restaurant or something else?!"

An adventure for Priya - Big Story

In a small village, there lived a small girl who was 6 years old whose name was Priya. She was an orphan. Priya lived all by herself. 

One hot evening, all the village girls gathered under the big banyan tree. They started chattering about Diwali, which was coming the next week. One boasted' You know? My father will buy me some Colorful dress and some crackers! I will enjoy Diwali'.

Another said' My family will go to the next town for Diwali Purchase! I will buy lots and lots of things like Dresses, Ornaments, Crackers, and much more! I am so exited!'

But Priya would just have to listen to them and she had none to buy her new dress. So she mourned among herself.' I have none to buy me dresses and crackers! I would cry any moment 😭'

The others took pity on her and sighed at Priya. 

A trickster who was coming that way, overheard their conversation and decided to trick Priya and kidnap her! But, will clever Priya ever fall into His trap?!

The Trickster disguised himself like an Old man and claimed to be Priya's Uncle. He went to Priya and said' You remember me? I am your Old Uncle! Come let's go home. I have lots and lots of gifts for Diwali. It's all for you.'

Little Priya didn't know what to do. So she quietly walked away with the cunning man, without knowing that he was a trickster! On the way, the man removed his disguise and told her that he was a trickster. Now Priya had to be very careful.

After some time, they reached a small house. There was an old lady who was blind. She was the trickster's old mom. 

The Trickster locked Priya into a small room. Then, he told his mother' Mom, please do not leave the little girl in that room to escape.' Saying so, He went out to chat. 

Next moment, Priya closed the door and quietly left the house. The trickster saw her and began chasing. She came to an inn and put up a moustache and changed her clothes. She giggled for herself after seeing her clothes.

 

Now, she looked like a boy. When finally the cunning man came to the inn, he could not find out where Priya is! It became night time. Priya invited the trickster to her room in the inn. She told him.' You are so tired. There is a cot in that room. Go and rest in there.' 

Greedily, The trickster jumped up into the cot and felt asleep. Next, Priya poured a bottle full of oil near the bed. So when he step on it, he will slip and fall down.

 

Then, Priya took a big stone and hit the trickster in his head. It began to bleed. He got up roaring. When he stepped onto the oily floor, he slipped and hit his head again and crashed into the bench. He was unconscious right now. So, Priya put him in a big cart and covered it with gifts and soft silks. 

Priya gave them to some men on the road telling' Please wait here. I will drink some water and come back.' Hurriedly, She went inside. The men opened the cart to see fine silks and gifts! They did not think twice. They all ran away with the cart, thinking that there were more treasure inside!

Now, Priya was happy! Her plan has worked accordingly! She whistled a happy tune to herself and walked down the road! After that, she lived happily by herself and there was no news of the Trickster again!

Udupi Krishna Temple

 Today, we are going to discuss about Udupi Sri Krishna Temple.

Kanakana Kindi:

At 13th Century, Madhwacarya build this marvelous and devotional temple. Once, Kanaka Dasar, The devotee of Lord Sri Krishna, was blocked to enter this temple as he was not a brahmin and was born in shepherd family. With a heavy heart, Kanaka Dasar went to the back of the temple and began praying through small crack in the wall.

Lord Sri Vadiraja Swami originated a small window to help Kanaka Dasar pray Lord Krishna. If devotees peep onto the Kanakana Kindi, they can have a flashing Darshan of the Lord. It is also called Navagraha Kindi.

Apart from being a pilgrim center, Udupi is also a calm and a peaceful place for Family Tour. There are also certain places to visit near this Temple:

Venugopal Temple, Etc.

Lost Soul~Chapter 5~

Next morning, Me and Felix went to the Nun and brought back Paul, who was confused and ill. Felix looked at Paul with a furious face. 'You are so adamant. Although hearing the Nun's warnings, you touched those blood lemons. That's why this had happened to you. You know how we worked for you? We did not even take rest.'

 

' Oh! be patient! Cool down yourself! Stop blaming Paul for everything.' I said to angry Felix.

In the late night, we three sat together in the Sofa.

'Now we know there is some evil spirit in this house. What can we do?' Paul Asked.

'Let's leave this house and go somewhere else!' Felix panicked.

'No, that isn't the right thing to do now!'

'Then what would you do? Tell me.' 

'Let's go to the church and meet the Nun tomorrow. We should move on carefully'

All of a sudden, a strange noise and a disgusting smell began to come. 'Wha-at is th-at noi-se?' I asked, frightened.

Aaaa! A ghost stood before us! It was spreading it's Hair and was spooky.

The Clever Cook.

Stella was a rich landlord's cook. She was a young and a clever girl. One day, The landlord ordered Stella to prepare Snacks for a guest who was about to come. Time passed and still the Guest did not come. The Landlord went out in search of the guest.

Stella grew hungry. Without a second thought, Stella greedily ate up the snacks.

 Soon, the Landlord came back and told that the guest was about to come. Now, Stella did not know what to do because she had ate up all the snacks! 

She thought for a while and had a plan. When the Guest had came, Stella went to the Guest and whispered, nervously. ' Go away! The Landlord is in burning anger! He told me that he will kill you when he sees you.'

Upon hearing this, the Guest ran away. Now, she went to the Landlord and complained.' Oh my lord! the Evil Guest had ran away with the snacks!' When the landlord heard this, he was blazing with anger. He began scolding the poor guest!

Stella laughed to herself!

About Kodaikanal.

Kodaikanal is the Hill Station, which is located in the southern Indian state of Tamilnadu. It is famous for it's natural wildlife, lush forests, valleys, lakes and waterfalls. Kodaikanal is famous for its chocolates. Now lets look at some popular tourist attractions in Kodaikanal.

Mannavanur Lake:

Many Birds can be spotted, flying freely. As Mannavanur lake is located inside a sheep farm, flocks of sheep can be found grazing in the green valley. The Mannavanur Lake is an ideal place with the peaceful and natural surroundings.

Apart from picnics and walks, we can also go for rides. The Forest Department charges a fixed price for each ride. As we all knew, Horse rides are also the popular activity to do here. I spent time in here wandering it's beauty.

Kurinji Andavar Temple:

This great Temple was constructed on 1936, by Lady Leelavathi Ramanathan. She was inspired by the Indian Culture, on which she was converted into an Hindu. People often come to this temple to admire it's rare Kurinji Flowers. These Flowers, which bloom every twelve years, are considered to be holy. 

Just when we step out from the temple, we can have the mesmerizing view of the Pazhani Mountains.

This Temple is denoted to lord Muruga. The place is a calm and devoted place.

Coakers Walk:

The Travel to Kodaikanal is incomplete without the visit to Coaker's Walk, a beautiful man-made one km long walking plaza. This is built among the gigantic mountains in the beautiful city of Kodaikanal.

The Coaker's Walk was built in the year of 1872, by Lieutenant Coaker. In this walk, we can see the big mountains joined by the steep slope of the hill. There are small stalls in the corner of the paths.

Guna Cave:

An American named B.E Ward, had discovered the place in  1821. The Movie 'Guna' was shot here. The place is very dangerous because of the vast caves. This place is also known as' The Devil's Kitchen'. As per the history, the word 'Devil' comes from the dangerous wildlife bats which live inside the caves.

The Huge Trees in the Caves are grown in an unique way.

Chettiar Park :

The park is constructed in and old style. There are lots and lots of flowers and bushes, which will make you fall in love with them. The timings for Chettiar park is 9 am to 5 pm. They would charge a 20 rupees for adults.

This place is perfectly suitable for photographs. And I really enjoyed this place and mostly spent half an hour on wandering around. 

Pine Forests:

The Pine forest are covered with thick trees like pines, eucalyptus, Shola trees and many more. The timings for pine forest is 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. And the the entry fee is free!

H.D Bryant began growing the development of pine trees in the forest. The place is so calm and peaceful. I loved to take photographs at this point. If we visit the place on January to July, we can find the best growth of the pine trees.

Note that keep yourself secured from monkeys!

Lost Soul~Chapter 4 ~

Paul was in danger now! His skin became Red in Colour and looked like a Ghost. No sooner, he acted in a very strange way. When Felix and me woke up, we were desperate. We cannot  look at him because he was terribly ugly. I thought he had became a Zombie!

We got scared. We both left Paul in our house and went to meet the Nun. She was comfortably seated on the mats. Me and Felix kneeled down before the Nun. Felix narrated what all had happened.

The Nun replied, a bit annoyed. 'I told you. Didn't I? Why did you leave that boy to touch the lemons? Ok see now! That boy is Haunted by Ghosts. Bring that boy here. Take this Cross and the book along with you. Use this whenever you sense spirits. Please do not leave him alone. You both should take care of him for a few days'

Saying so, we both left home. That afternoon, We went to the Church along with Paul. The Nun locked Paul in a room where all the haunted people were being sent. She threw some ash on Paul's face. Then, she made him sleep on the floor mat. 

We kept on waiting for Paul to return. Soon, we lost patience and went to home.

Sophie's Doll - A Great Adventure For Sophie.

Sophie had came to her grandfather's house for vacation. She went around the Beautiful Garden which Grandfather usually took care of. For the first few days, she engaged herself on watering the gardens, roaming on the terrace and many more. But after some days, she was bored. She was angry and didn't know how to entertain herself.

So, Sophie's Grandfather made a cardboard Doll. He decorated it with pearls and colorful clothes. He also made big wings for it. It was very beautiful. The doll had pretty large eyes, and a long hair. Sophie loved her very much.

One night, A queer little voice came out from the table. To Sophie's surprise, The Doll was speaking! Sophie spoke out to it.'Ho Girl, can you please let me out through the window? I have so much of work left to do!"

Sophie was surprised. She asked her what was the work for her to do. The Doll replied 'My name is Mary, and I am the princess of a big country. The Bad Wizard, who lives in north, had prisoned my family in prison! I have to save them!'

Sophie was curious about this and pleaded and scolded that she may also come with her. Alas! Mary the Doll agreed. Then, they set out to the woods.

 On the way, Mary warned Sophie. 'Sophie, please be careful while travelling. We may face any danger in this journey. I may fly and cross the danger, but you cannot' But Sophie just nodded and said.'Ok, no problem.'

Then, They passed through a spooky place, where a Giant lived. When it saw them, It began roaring. Sophie was so scared! Mary, using her powers, Threw balls of fire towards the giant. The giant fell down with a loud Thud!!!

Then, there came a Fire storm! Many small fire balls hit Sophie and she cried. But Mary was brave and defended herself.

At last, they reached the place were the wicked Wizard of the north lived. Mary fought with anger. At last, she killed the wicked wizard! 

Then, Mary's Family was let out from the prison! Mary was happy. She thanked Sophie for being her comrade in the journey!

'Get up now! Stop dreaming!' Sophie's Grandfather yelled at her! The strange adventure had been a dream! Sophie smiled and kept Mary with herself!
